Are you kidding me!!! A bunch of roomates get together, one accuses the other of eating his toaster strudel, accusations fly and escalate into a fight. One of the roomates grabs a knife from the kitchen and stabs his friend (well used to be friend) in the side. One is in the hospital in serious condition and the other in jail, bummer.
This whole scenario is unbelievably stupid. I am however more interested in the possible explanations from these guys to family, police, the landlord and all of their other friends on just what could possibly have happened to trigger this kind of idiocy.
I am at this moment listening, watching and enjoying a live concert from Journey on You Tube. What a group and what a show!!! I remember going to their concerts long ago, ah the old days. The past few days have been spent exploring the incredible resources that are now available to all of us, for free from sites like You Tube and so many others. I don’t know about copywrite laws, pirating rules or where the studios will take this form of obvious concern, but for now I am amazed at the wealth of material available. Granted most of the you tube videos are lacking in about everything, submitted amateurs from all around the world looking for their 15-seconds of fame, but I certainly have enjoyed my little corner of the You Tube experience recently.
In the business of web design, search engine optimization, web marketing, web blogs, web hosting and strategic planning. If you are not up to speed on the incredible resources available online and know of the impact that they are having on traditional search engine marketing, you are fighting a high tech war armed only with a sling shot.
Each time I visit with a client to review the year, strategize on the upcoming year and then discuss our succeses and areas that require attention on their site operations. They all have one thing in common, they have no idea about the many changes happening around them. For all of our clients reading these blog posts, get used to the idea that when we get together for your annual review, we are going to talk about many new things that may make you uncomfortable, because of your required involvement but will pay off handsomelly in our marketing efforts.
Until then, I will continue enjoying a whole new world of on demand entertainment. Now i am watching a live performance of Kenny Loggins performing at the Grand Canyon. Very cool!
Congratulations to Global Wholesale Supply Company. They have been clients for just over 1 year now. They have significant connections overseas in Asia and surrounding areas and use these relationships to buy large quantities of building supplies at great prices. For instance some of the products they carry are drywall, portland cement, flooring, reinforced steel, roofing shingles, urea, etc. Their minimum orders are usually by the shipload only.
In our regular annual review of their site operations, they let me know that through the SEO activities we launched for them in January of 2006, they have been selected to be included on a “preferred vendor” list of the State Department for any large quantity buys of either urea or cement. This is a significant achevement for any importer to receive this kind of endorsement. Way to go gentlemen.

Just so everyone reading this blog knows. Life is full of unexpected twists, turns and surprises. This blog platform not only showcases success stories and SEO strategies, but we also talk about frustrations and surprises. In November of last year we launched a site for a new client. They are in the Massage Table distribution business. This client is well versed on the subject of search engine optimization and white hat SEO. Significant time and resources have been put into this project and the perfect strategy was outlined to maximize our opportunity and minimize the timeline to SERP visibility.
All has been executed flawlessly and exactly as planned. Unfortunately with this client and in this isolated situation, nothing seems to be playing out as we have expected. We have dozens of projects that within the first 90-days achieve significant results with far less commitment of not only time but resources as well. This site was managed well, received extensive optimization and much time in the development of an extensive backlink strategy.
