
Recently Google has announced a major change in the way the search engine will deliver results and greatly change search engine optimization. There was a time when you had to click an extra button to see a map, video or image but now all of these results will be rolled together. When searching for “Darth Vader” you will see Image results, videos, related key terms and news all within the organic results, making media much more accessible. The expansion further consolidates Google’s lead in the search market and will give users more targeted results, as well as more targeted ads. For David Thoreau comprehending meta-data and link building would be impossible but he still realized an ultimate truth. That it is not true appearance that is significant, the way it is perceived by others is what truly counts. For search engine optimization, this is an important concept. In SEO, there is a lot that could be seen but it’s what is perceived that counts. It counts more that a website is perceived to be popular than if it really is or not. However, it seems that the opposite holds true for SEO as a career. Some perceive it in an unfavorable light, but there is a great opportunity for those who grab it. If you’re in search engine optimization you know that organic search results are always more effective or more sought after than PPC keywords. On occasion though PPC is a must, the problem is that rates are getting extremely high. High prices combined with click fraud can bankrupt someone.
